Solar Hydrogen Electric Vehicle

1. Executive Summary
Solar Hydro Electric Vehicle is a concept designed by integrating concept of hydrogen vehicle and solar vehicle into the electric vehicle to increase acceptance rate of electric vehicles. Currently there are many issues related to electric vehicle affecting its acceptance rate of the concept and some of them is charging time of the vehicle and limited range on charging and to tackle this issue in two wheelers the companies are developing easily changeable battery. However, no similar solution is still developed for other multivehicles. Solar Hydro Electric Vehicle can be a greater step in creating enviro-costumerfriendly vehicle which will increase acceptance rate of ecofriendly vehicle. The concept of electric vehicle needs huge electric charging infrastructure same as the fuel pumps and on same grounds for acceptance of hydrogen vehicles at high rate again it needs a huge number of hydrogen fuel pumps so, introducing a multiple or flex fuel vehicle can help in increasing acceptance rate of vehicle as in condition where there is under developed charging infrastructure and hydrogen fuel stations the SolarHydroEV can run on both concepts. And in addition, the runtime charging facility using solar harnessing can increase the battery efficiency as due to runtime facility the battery efficiency could be grown to twice or even more using this concept.
2. Introduction
The first electric vehicle was the Flocken Elektrowagen, invented in 1888 by Andreas Flocken in Germany. Since then, more than one and one forth century has passed and still the acceptance rate of electric vehicle around the world is around 20% in world in 2022-2023 and when it comes to India it is around 5%. Also, the first road vehicle powered by a hydrogen fuel cell was the Chevrolet Electrovan, introduced by General Motors in 1966 and still the total number of hydrogen vehicle around the world is very less. The first solar-powered car was the Sunmobile, created by General Motors employee William G. Cobb in 1955. Again the number of solar vehicles on road is very less. The problem acceptance rate of each of them is different for all like for Electric Vehicles the limited charging infrastructure and the charging time are the reasons. Similarly, for hydrogen vehicle it limited hydrogen fuel pumps and for the solar the weather and pollution in air plays the important role.
SolarHydroEV is the concept of integrating the concept of solar vehicle and hydrogen vehicle with the electric vehicle to increase the range of electric vehicle to provide it a runtime charging leading it to increase its range maybe to double or even more. Providing hydrogen fuel can help is giving a choice to the costumer if they want to rely on hydrogen vehicle and also if the Solar Powered Electric Vehicle runs out of charging at night or in bad weather the costumer can opt for the hydrogen facility which will be the optional facility for that costumer.
3. Concept Description
Let us first consider the less volume vehicles like cars (Sedan, SUV, etc.) and for such vehicle the concept design is to manage the structure of vehicle considering multiple aspects and one of the aspects is managing the design means without making a broader change with the costumer occupancy in vehicle and without compromising with the safety of the passengers the vehicle to be designed means roof with be occupied with the solar cells which will be connected to battery of the vehicle and this model will be same for other vehicles (medium weight, heavy weight, etc.).
When considering the hydrogen there can be two models where first model can be using the hydrogen fuel cell means hydrogen will be converted to electric using the atmospheric oxygen. One of the benefits in adapting this technology can be the space occupancy of storage battery will be neglected as we can store the electric in same battery and already as per design the tanks which will be assembled in the seats and this concept can help us in utilizing material and space occupied in void seat structure. Another, method that can be adapted in in running the Vehicle is using hydrogen technology is using the hydrogen engine.
One of the ways to develop our own hydrogen engine is by modifying current Internal Combustion Engine. As the name suggest ICE works on the concept of Internal Combustion means the fuel is sent to combustion chamber where due to ignition from igniter the fuel is combusted leading to increase in volume required for the fuel and as the structure of combustion area is fixed it leads to functioning of piston which then leads in further functioning.
4. Market Analysis
In two conditions the specific region can produce the potential buyers of a product first is if the product or similar product exist then if the average age of existing product has passed the determined age and second is if the existing product is harmful for nature and not efficient for passengers/owners means operation cost is comparatively costlier.
As per statics only one of the four vehicles sold in world in 2023 where Electric Vehicle or sustainable and in India on every Electric Vehicle there are nineteen Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles were sold.
The above bar graph is the representation of average age vehicles in major countries and as per data the average age of vehicles around the world is more than 7 years and mostly the determined age of vehicles is 10 years so all this vehicles will be eligible for replacement and SolarHydroEV can be the next replacement.
5. Design and Engineering
Design of seat is represented in the above figure it is just the primary representation for explanation of the concept and also a AI generated image is generated through a generative AI platform for a proper visualization,
In the above figure the representation of allignments of solar panel and hydrogen fuel tanks is represented. In the representation of Sedan and SUV the greener part is hydrogen tank and the green blue gradient is the hydrogen tank and in both the figure the roof part is reserved for solar technology.

6. Feasibility Study
As the core concept for the vehicle is renewable flex fuel vehicle so, the concept is concept is completely economically feasible. As concept of Electric Vehicle, Solar Vehicle and Hydrogen Vehicle with Hydrogen fuel cell is already existing just in this concept we have to develop the same or similar technology and to integrate it.
The next stage in technology development can be developing hydrogen engines and developing second version of SolarHydroEV which will instead use Hydrogen Engines instead of hydrogen fuel cell.
7. Development Plan
There are many locations where vehicles are dumped and many of the vehicles in good condition when dumped and due to weather effects there condition degrades. Using such vehicles at least useable parts will be economically viable and even it will be environmentally beneficial when using you are using an existing reusable resources.
8. Conclusion
If development of the concept conducted in proper direction it can bring a revolution in automobile industry and this can lead the automobile industry for next two century.
